Spreadability
WOPROFERT can be spread with existing machinery.
A strewing test with artificial fertilizer machinery gave the following results:

Density
The Density of WOPROFERT is 600 kg/m3 ( = 0,6).
Pellet length
The average pellet length of WOPROFERT is 5 a 8 mm. The average diameter of the pellet is 5 mm.
Solubility
WOPROFERT dissolves in about 3-5 minutes. In practice WOPROFERT will dissolve after one shower of rain.
The time taken for a pellet structure to break down depends on the amount of rainfall.
Packing
WOPROFERT can be supplied in strong plastic bags of 20 kg, in Big Bags and in bulk.
Special products
Besides WOPROFERT in our production process we have the possibility to mix any composition you want, based on organic- or anorganic products. These special products we produce only by request of a minimum quantity of 100M/tons.

Organic matter
The bulk of the organic matter in soil is made up of dead leaves and other plant material, together with the decomposing bodies of animals. Mineralisation breaks down the organic matter, releasing its inorganic nutrients so they can be used by plants. The organic matter requirement can be supplied with an organic fertilizer, such as WOPROFERT.In the soil organic matter has the following functions:
• Improving the soil structure.
• Supply of nutrients.
• Reducing erosion.
• Stimulating the growth of soil microbes.
• Increasing the water-holding capacity.
Besides these functions, organic matter increase the crops yields, particularly on poor soils. This effect is called "plus factor".
Research in The Netherlands proved that a combined use of artificial fertilizer and organic fertilizer will increase the crop yield by 3-5 %. Fertilizing with only mineral fertilizers gives no improvement in productivity.
Organic fertilizers
Any discussion of fertilizers should begin with at least a brief overview of plant nutrition.
It is commonly accepted that there are 18 elements required by plants for healthy growth. Of these, three: "Carbon, Hydrogen and Oxygen" are supplied by air and water. The other 15 are normally absorbed from the soil by plant roots. This group of 15 is further divided into 4 subgroups:
Primary nutrients .Secondary nutrients .Trace elements and Organic
All of these elements are essential, regardless of the amounts required. They included:
Primary nutrients : Nitrogen .phosphorous and Potassium.
Secondary nutrients : Calcium. Magnesium and Sulfate.
Trace elements : Zinc. Iron. Manganese .Copper. Boron. Molybdenium. Cobalt. Sodium and Chlorine.
All these nutrients work together in a delicate balance to promote plant growth. For example, an excess or one nutrient can reduce a plant's ability to absorb another.The role of any fertilizer is to improve the fertility of the soil. The soil supports plant life and is the vehicle that supplies the necessary nutrients to the plant. The more fertile a soil is (i.e. rich in organic matter) the more likely it is to yield a healthy and abundant garden. Organic gardening starts with adding organic products to the soil.
Organic fertilizers feed the soil, not the plant. The soil will feed the plant. Organic fertilizers help maintain overall soil fertility by contributing vital organic matter and enhancing the soil structure in addition to supplying plant nutrients.
They are most often derived from the by-products of once living organisms. The product that supply most of the nutrients in organic fertilizers is: animal manure containing about 60-% organic matter.
Our Organic Fertilizer, based on animal manure, is certified by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and each or their ingredients are periodically tested to ensure their purity , to make sure the ingredients are what the label says they are.
Fertilizer recommendation
To fertilize in an economic and environmentally friendly way, it is desirable to analyze the soil and then match the fertilizing process to the needs of the crop. The period of fertilizing, the quantity and method of fertilizing is also important.
WOPROFERT is a product with two functions: at first it supplies the needs of nutrient requirements and secondly it improves the soil structure.
On the basis of soil analysis, crop needs and experience, it is possible to apply an amount of WOPROFERT suitable for your conditions.
Organic Fertilizer is a slow-release fertilizer. This means that the nutrients will be available over a period of time.
Research has shown that the release of nitrogen in the first year is 60% , phosphate 80% and potassium and magnesium is 100 %. The rest of the percentage is available during the next year . If you use WOPROFERT only as a soil improving fertilizer, you have to be aware not to use too much.
